KAMLOOPS - Actresses in the Thompson Nicola Region are being called to action next month.
Joy Factory Films sent a press release this week seeking four women ages 35-55 years old for a Gold Country Communities Society promotional video.
Preferences will be given to those who live in the Gold Country area comprising 70 Mile, Big Bar, Bonaparte Plateau, South Green Lake, Clinton, Loon Lake, Cache Creek, Ashcroft, Spences Bridge, Lytton, Logan Lake, Walhachin and Lillooet, and all areas in between.
Kamloops residents are welcome to apply.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

It is a paid opportunity at $150.00 per full-day of work, $100.00 per half-day of work. Meals, beverages, and accommodation (if needed) are all included.

Filming for 2 – 3 days in June and/or July 2018 – exact dates to be determined.

Actors must be between the ages of 35 to 55.

Having your own transportation is preferred.

Actors will need to do your own makeup and hair, and provide your own wardrobe.

Bonus points if you can find three other women who you already know to join in on the fun!

The release says the theme of the video is “having fun” and describes the four characters as friends exploring that theme. Some activities listed include going to a farmers market, experiencing a guest ranch, and sipping wine at Fort Berens Winery in Lillooet.
