KELOWNA – A local videographer has put together a short, but visually-stunning, ode to mountain biking in the Okanagan.
Nic Collar’s project ‘What Keeps Us Here’ is a two-minute love letter to an area that is diverse, challenging and always beautiful.
It features voice over by Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan president Jay Darby, as he explains how the Okanagan continues to grow as a mountain biking destination.
Collar uses a series of dramatic angles captured both on land and from a drone to follow riders Darby and Jay Starnino.
“You see a lot more influx of people from out of town or from out of province or from out of country to come here to ride, to experience our trail systems,” Darby says in the film.
