Motorists filling up their tanks around the Thompson-Okanagan will certainly save if they do it in Vernon.

Vernon currently has the cheapest gas in the province at $119.9 at both Canadian Tire and Petro-Canada gas station at 4321 25 Ave., according to GasBuddy.com.

Most of the other gas stations in Vernon are selling a litre of regular for $122.9, which is around 10 cents cheaper than Kamloops at $130.9, Kelowna at $132.8, and five cents less than Penticton's lowest price of $127.9.

Prices around the Interior are still relatively low when compared to Vancouver at $146.9 per litre and Victoria $153.9.

Drivers in Toronto are paying $117.3 and those in Montreal $125.9.

The best deal around appears to be in Fox Creek, Alberta where drivers paying cash can get a litre of fuel for 79.9 cents.
