Vernon firefighters douse early morning truck fire

Vernon firefighters put out a truck fire at 4:30 a.m. today, July 31, 2019, on Highway 97 near Bailey Road.

VERNON - Vernon Fire Rescue Services had an early morning call responding to a truck fire just before sunrise today.

Vernon Fire Department responded to a truck on fire at 4:30 a.m. today, July 31, on Highway 97 near Bailey Road south of Vernon.

Nobody was injured in the incident and the fire department says arson was not a factor.

No other information is currently available.
