Vernon residents and business owners are invited to the third and final public open house for the Vernon Regional Airport Master Plan.

The open house will be held at the Lakers Clubhouse (7000 Cummins Rd.) on Wednesday, July 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. During the open house, staff from the City of Vernon will provide a review and ask for resident input on the Council’s endorsed development plan, identified airport’s facilities improvements, development phases and funding sources.

The master plan focuses on capacity improvements and upgrades within the existing airport lands, without expansion or runway extension, which developed from ongoing dialogue and collaboration with local stakeholders and residents.
