UPDATE: Highway 3 partially reopens following crash; occupant airlifted to hospital

PENTICTON - Highway 3 has partially reopened following a vehicle incident this afternoon.

Drive B.C. is reporting a vehicle incident near Hedley, about 26 kilometres west of Keremeos around 2:30 p.m.

RCMP say two vehicles collided near Stemwinder Provincial Park and one occupant had to be airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The highway is expected to be single lane alternating traffic until roughly 9 p.m.
