Vees unveil season ticket campaign

PENTICTON, BC –The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club introduced a special season ticket campaign Thursday during a press conference at the BC Hockey Hall of Fame.

The Vees have reduced the price of season tickets significantly, with the goal in mind to make watching Vees hockey affordable to everyone in Penticton and the South Okanagan. The team is introducing three pricing levels, with fans having the option to buy a $149, $169 or a $199 package for the 2013-2014 season; Child (12 & under) and Student (13-18) packages are available for $129. The three pricing levels are based on designated sections in the SOEC.

Also the Vees are launching a minor hockey program for those registered with the Penticton Minor Hockey Association (PMHA). All PMHA registered players will receive a free season’s pass if their parent/guardian(s) buy a season ticket(s). To clarify, if both parents/guardians buys one of the three season ticket packages, their child or children registered with PMHA will receive a free pass for the 2013-2014 season (single parent families only need to buy a season ticket).

The public has thirty days to take advantage of these ticket incentives, with the on-sale date set for Monday, July 15th. Deadline for fans to submit their applications form for the “30 day” sale is August 15th. After August 15th, season ticket pricing will go back to regular pricing levels from the 2012-2013 season.

The Vees are also introducing a payment plan for would be season ticket buyers. A 25 percent deposit is required upon submitting your season ticket application. However, fans will have the option to pay the remaining balance of their season ticket over three equal payments. To qualify for the payment plan, fans must purchase their season ticket during the “30 day” sale.
