PENTICTON – The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce forward Cam Amantea (94) has committed to the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Amantea is the third Vees to commit to the Seawolves this season and will be joining current teammates Anthony Conti and Olivier Mantha in Anchorage.

President, General Manager and Head Coach Fred Harbinson, “Cam is the consummate team guy; versatile and willing to play any role asked. That character he brings to the Vees will no doubt make UAA a better program.”

The 19 year-old Amantea is in his second season with the Vees after graduating from the Edge School for Athletes in Calgary, Alberta. Amantea has played in eight games this season, picking up three goals and seven points, and was on pace for a fifty-point season before being side-lined with an upper-body injury. The Vees are back in action Wednesday, October 16th, when they host the Merritt Centennials at the SOEC; puck drop is 7pm.
