Sandra Bullock, 'Glee' poised for People's Choice Awards nods

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Fans will dictate the top in entertainment at the 2014 People Choice Awards, airing live Wednesday night on CBS from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The most popular stars in television, music and film are up for honours at the annual awards show, one of the first this season.

"Glee" leads with eight nominations, while Katy Perry and Sandra Bullock top with five nods each. Amusing categories like favourite TV anti-hero pit Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's Jaime Lannister of "Game of Thrones" against Bryan Cranston's Walter White of "Breaking Bad."

The show will feature appearances by Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres, Justin Timberlake and more.

Jennifer Hudson will receive the humanitarian award. Brad Paisley, Sara Bareilles and OneRepublic will perform. Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs will host.
