NEW YORK, N.Y. - Clive Owen will make his Broadway debut in "Old Times" by Harold Pinter.

Roundabout Theatre Company said Monday that Owen will star in the "unsettling drama of desire and blurred realities" starting Sept. 17 at one of its Broadway theatres. Douglas Hodge will direct.

Owen received an Oscar nomination for his role in "Closer." He played Romeo at the Young Vic, starred in Sean Mathias' staging of Noel Coward's "Design for Living" and played the lead role in the original production of Patrick Marber's "Closer." In 2001, he starred in London in Peter Nichols' "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg."

In "Old Times," a married couple welcomes the wife's old friend for a visit, which kicks up old memories, verbal games and classic Pinter amounts of menace.
