INFANT TRAVEL BEDS
DETAILS: KidCo Inc.'s PeaPod and PeaPod Plus travel cribs. The infant travel beds have an air mattress that fits into a zippered pocket in the floor of the domed tent, which collapses for transport. They were sold at independent juvenile specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from January 2005 through the present.
WHY: If the mattress is placed in the floor of the tent, an infant's head could lodge between the mattress and tent's side, making breathing impossible.
INCIDENTS: One infant death and nine infants entrapped or distressed while inside the portable tents.

LAWN MOWER ENGINES
DETAILS: Lawn Mower Engines made by Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA of Grand Rapids, Mich. and sold at authorized Kawasaki small engine dealers and lawn and garden equipment retailers nationwide from October 2011 to August 2012. The Kawasaki FH, FR, FS and FX series engines are used in riding and wide-area, walk-behind lawnmowers made and sold under the following brand names: Ariens, Bad Boy Mowers, Big Dog, Bob-Cat, Bush Hog, Country Clipper, Cub Cadet, Dixie Chopper, Dixon, DR Power Equipment, Encore, Exmark, Ferris, Gravely, Hustler, Husqvarna, Land Pride, SCAG, Simplicity, Snapper Pro, Tiger Corp, Toro, Worldlawn and Woods. Engines may also have been bought separately and used in other lawn mowers. The engines are 13- to 36-horsepower, air-cooled, V-twin engines. "Kawasaki" and the model number are printed on the top of all of the engines.
WHY: The fuel filter can leak, posing a fire hazard.
INCIDENTS: 110 reports of fuel leaks. No injuries reported.

PORTABLE GENERATORS
DETAILS: Portable Generators distributed by American Honda Motor Co. Inc. of Torrance, Calif. And sold at Honda Power Equipment dealers, Camping World, Gander Mountain, Grainger, Hertz Rental, John Deere, National Pump & Compressor, Northern Tool, Scheels Sporting, Sportsman's Warehouse, Sunbelt Rentals, True Value, United Rentals, White Cap and Wholesale Sports store nationwide and online from October 2011 through September 2012. The Honda gasoline-powered portable generators are black and red in colour or have a camouflage design. "Honda," ''EU converter" and the model number 2000i are printed on the side of the generator. "Companion" is printed on the side of some EU2000i models. The serial number is located on the lower right side, rear corner of the generator.
WHY: The generator's fuel hose can leak, posing fire and burn hazards.
INCIDENTS: Four incidents of fuel leaks. No fires or injuries have been reported.

FUEL FILTERS AND TUNE-UP KITS
DETAILS: Fuel Filters and Tune-Up Kits with Fuel Filters made by Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA of Grand Rapids, Mich. and sold at Kawasaki dealers nationwide between August 2011 and August 2012. The fuel filters are white, translucent plastic and attach to the fuel tubes on Kawasaki lawn mowers and utility vehicle engines. The filters were sold separately and as part of engine tune-up kits. "VISU Filter" and a manufacturing date code number are on the top of the filter. The tune-up kits say "Kawasaki Engine Tune-Up Kit" on the box. A part number is located on the top of the box.
WHY: The fuel filter can leak, posing a fire hazard.
INCIDENTS: 110 reports of fuel leaks in lawn mowers, including two reports of leaks from replacement filters. No injuries reported.

MICROPHONES
DETAILS: NK R2 Microphones made by Nielsen-Kellerman Co. and sold at Nielsen-Kellerman Co. online and authorized NK dealers worldwide. The microphones are designed to be used by the navigator (coxswain) of rowed racing boats to direct the rowers. It is made of a rubber U-shaped base attached to a blue headband. A black metal microphone boom is attached to one end of the U and a cable with a flat, rubber-covered connector is attached to the other end. The microphones are used with the Cox Box and Cox Box Mini voice amplifiers.
WHY: The metal boom of the microphone can conduct electricity from an exposed speaker wire or connector, posing a shock or burn hazard to the user.
INCIDENTS: Three incidents in which the users reported second-degree burns where the metal boom contacted their face.

PORTABLE GENERATORS
DETAILS: Powermate Sx 5500 portable generators imported by Pramac America LLC of Kearney, Neb., and made by Am Pride Chongqing Senci IMP & EXP Trade Co. of China. They were sold exclusively at Home Depot stores February through August 2012. The black portable generators with wheels have "Powermate 5500" printed on the side of it. The generators were sold under the model name Sx5500 and model number PM0125500, both of which are printed on a plate on the rear of the generators.
WHY: The fuel filter allows gasoline to leak, posing a fire hazard.
INCIDENTS: 51 reports of fuel filter leakage. No fires or injuries have been reported.

TIKIT FOLDING BICYCLES
DETAILS: Tikit Folding Bicycles made by Green Gear Cycling Inc., doing business as Bike Friday of Eugene, Ore. They were sold by Bike Friday directly and dealers nationwide from January 2007 through September 2012. The Bike Friday "tikit" brand decal is affixed to the bike frame.
WHY: The bike's handlebar stem can break and cause the rider to lose control, posing a fall hazard.
INCIDENTS: Six reports of breaking handlebar stems, resulting in two reports of injuries including scrapes, bruises and a cut on the head that required stitches.

LIGHT FIXTURES
DETAILS: Ceiling-Mounted light fixtures imported by Dolan Northwest LLC of Seattle, Wash., doing business as Seattle Lighting, Globe Lighting, Builders Lighting and Destination Lighting. They were made by Dongguan Young Long Electric Co. Ltd. in China and sold at Builders Lighting, Globe Lighting, Seattle Lighting and online at DestinationLighting.com from September 2008 through September 2009.
WHY: The fixture's socket wire insulation can degrade and lead to charged wires becoming exposed and cause electricity to pass to the metal canopy of the fixture, posing fire and electric shock hazards to.
INCIDENTS: Two reports of defective fixtures which resulted in the home's Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) tripping. No injuries have been reported.

FOLDING CAMPING CHAIRS
DETAILS: Folding Camping Chairs imported by Rec-Out LLC of Atlanta, Ga., and made by Beststar Tourist Products Co., Ltd. of China. They were sold exclusively at Big 5 Sporting Goods stores from April through October 2012. The Basin model Columbus folding camping chairs have a label with the style numbers attached to the side of the seat. They are blue, foam-padded, polyester chairs with a cushioned seat and back.
WHY: The chairs were found to contain a variety of moulds that could cause respiratory or other infections in individuals with chronic health problems or who have impaired immune systems.
INCIDENTS: None reported.
