Hospital says 4 patients expected after dump truck hits elementary school bus in Idaho

Law enforcement officials respond to the scene of a fatal crash on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 in Kuna, Idaho. KUNA, Idaho - Emergency crews from several agencies are responding after a dump truck collided with a school bus loaded with elementary school children in Kuna, Idaho, Thursday morning.

Brad Hoaglun, a spokesman for St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, says the hospital has been told to expect four patients from the crash to arrive. Officials with the Kuna School District confirmed that the bus was carrying children from their district. It was headed to Crimson Point Elementary school.

The Idaho State Police, Canyon County Sheriff's Office and other agencies were responding to the crash. There was no other information immediately available.
