Teen who stole Guy Fieri's Lamborghini, also convicted of attempted murder, gets life term

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - A 19-year-old Northern California man convicted of a series of crimes, including attempted murder and the theft of a celebrity chef's Lamborghini, has been sentenced to life in prison, plus 21 years and four months.

Max Wade was sentenced Thursday after being found guilty in October of attempted murder, vehicle theft and other crimes. He was charged as an adult even though he was under 18 at the time the crimes were committed.

Among Wade's crimes was a drive-by shooting that occurred on April 13, 2012, in Mill Valley.

The Marin Independent Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1jGeHBa ) that Wade was convicted of firing at a truck occupied by two acquaintances.

The investigation of the shooting led detectives to Wade's storage locker, where he was keeping television chef Guy Fieri's $200,000 sports car.
