CLEVELAND - Vice-President Joe Biden is making an unannounced stop in Ohio. His plane is now at the same airport as the plane of Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
Romney and running mate Paul Ryan also had scheduled Election Day stops in Cleveland at about the same time.
Ohio has become a central battleground in the presidential race.
Biden voted Tuesday morning in his home state of Delaware and then boarded a plane for Chicago, where he's joining President Barack Obama to await the election returns.
An hour after takeoff, reporters travelling with Biden alerted the rest of the news media that the vice-president had landed in Cleveland just before noon.
