Update on Overlanders Bridge remediation project at NSBIA annual general meeting

KAMLOOPS – The North Shore Business Association’s 2015 Annual General Meeting is on Thursday, Feb.19. Our key presenter this year will be City of Kamloops project staff for the upcoming Overlanders Bridge remediation project.

The project tender is currently live on the B.C. Bid website. Project staff will be updating North Shore businesses on what is within the project tender as well as reviewing projected timelines for the bridge work.

“We’re excited to have this opportunity for businesses and the greater North Shore community to hear firsthand what the City planning looks like for this project,” said NSBIA Executive Director Steven Puhallo. “Having a strong line of communication with the city’s project team will be important as this project unfolds.”

Other topics at the AGM will be a 2014 year in review, planning for 2015, operating amendments to the NSBIA’s by-laws, and election of directors for 2015/2016.

“We had another positive year in 2014 and will continue to build on those successes in 2015,” said Puhallo.

The NSBIA 2015 AGM is open to the public. Only NSBIA members as defined in the association’s constitution and bylaws may vote or participate in the meeting.
