UPDATE: 8:51 a.m. July 10, 2013  The missing boys have been found and are safe.

A West Kelowna mother is pleading for her teen son and teen nephew to please come home.

The boys, 14-year-old Levi and Lochlan McLeod were last seen July 7 about 8 p.m. when they left the house in West Kelowna. Levi's mom received a text saying they would be back in a few days. When the pair didn't return the next day, the mother became concerned because it was out of character for the boys to behave this way.

The teens were spotted at McDonald's in West Kelowna in the morning July 8, and the mother received a text from them stating they were safe, but they failed to reveal their location, causing further concern.

In addition, one of the boys suffers from depression and the other is coping with a recent family incident which is why police are seeking the public's assistance locating them.

Levi is 5'8", slim build with short blond hair, blue eyes and was wearing sunglasses. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Lochlan is 5'8", slim build, with short brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a black T-shirt with a "misfit" logo on it and grey, tight pants.

Both boys may have skateboards and could be at a skateboard park.

Police continue to check with the boy's friends and other places they have been known to frequent.

Anyone with information can contact West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880.
