Kamloops RCMP are investigating an assault with a weapon that landed two people in the hospital on the morning of Aug. 6.
RCMP say two people were involved in what allegedly began as a consensual fight that turned into an assault involving a blunt weapon in the 1800 block of Rogers Way.
Police attended to the scene and both people involved were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One man was arrested after being medically cleared. He was released with conditions and a court date, pending the completion of the investigation.
