Two multi-million dollar Okanagan homes are up for grabs as the Hometown Heroes Lottery returns for another year to support the Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital Foundation.
Each year, the fundraiser helps raise essential funds for specialized adult health services and research, according to a Hometown Heroes Lottery press release.
This year, two grand prizes, based in Lake Country and Penticton are being offered to one lucky winner.
The Lake Country home, located in Lakestone at 9479 Ledgestone Rd., is 3,150 sq. ft. featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The prize package also includes a 2022 Audi Q5 Progressiv e55 TFSI SUV plug-in hybrid, a 2022 Audi A7 Sportback TFSI e55 plug-in hybrid and $460,000 cash. The total grand prize package is worth more than $2.5 million.

The Penticton home, located at Edgeview at the Ridge at 158 Deer Pl., is 1,850 sq. ft., and has four bedrooms and three and half bathrooms, with a 200 sq. ft. patio. This prize package also includes a 2022 BMW i4 eDrive 40, a 2022 Audi e-tron Quattro Progressiv and $1.4 million cash. The total grand prize package is worth more than $2.5 million.
The grand prize winner also has the option of choosing $2.2 million tax-free cash, the largest cash prize in the history of the lottery, according to the release.
Tickets for the main Hometown Heroes lottery are $75 for three packs, $125 for seven, $300 for a 21-pack or $500 for 40.
