KAMLOOPS - A single vehicle collision resulted in the temporary closure of both lanes on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Kamloops this morning.
Kamloops RCMP and other emergency crews responded to a call after a vehicle lost control due to the frost on the road near Savona.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says they received the call at approximately 6:30 a.m. today, Nov. 19.
Two men inside the vehicle were taken to Royal Inland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, she says.
"The road was closed for a short time while the men were extricated from the vehicle," Shelkie says.
The incident happened 700 metres west of the Six Mile Lookout. The highway has completely reopened.
