Two men were seriously injured in a shooting incident in the parking lot of a hotel in the 4000 block of Pritchard Drive in West Kelowna yesterday.
Police responded to a 911 call at 5:29 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 20, about shots being fired and found the two injured men.
"Two male victims are currently being treated for serious injuries at Kelowna General Hospital,” reads a Kelowna RCMP news release. “The investigation is in the early stages; however, there is no indication this was a random incident.”

"KGH was locked down in relation to the shooting," Cpl. Tammy Lobb, the RCMP's media relations officer, told iNFOnews.ca today, Dec. 21. "Kelowna RCMP supports the measures taken by the hospital to protect public safety."
RCMP are not releasing any other details about the shooting or the investigation to the public at this time.
