TORONTO - Monday's debut of CTV's "Your Morning" will include an interview with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

On its Twitter and Instagram accounts Friday, the morning show announced that co-host Ben Mulroney interviewed Trudeau for the premiere episode.

The postings also included a photo of the two — both sons of former prime ministers — speaking by a waterfront.

Mulroney also posted a photo on his social media accounts from the interview which he described as a "great chat ... about issues that matter to you."

CTV says the interview happened on Thursday in Gatineau, Que., and will air in two parts on Monday.

"Your Morning" replaces "Canada AM," which abruptly left the air in June after a 43-season run.

Mulroney and Anne-Marie Mediwake will host alongside meteorologist Kelsey McEwen and anchors Lindsey Deluce and Melissa Grelo.
