TORONTO - This year's Golden Globe winner for best musical or comedy TV series hasn't aired in Canada yet but will be available to stream later this month.
"Transparent," about a Los Angeles-based family with a transgender parent, is coming to Shomi, the streaming service launched last year by Rogers and Shaw.
The series, which debuted on Amazon's Instant Video streaming service, also picked up a best TV comedy actor nomination for its star Jeffrey Tambor.
Shomi says "Transparent" will start streaming on Jan. 23.
