A private jet reported a loss of control and declared an emergency at the Kelowna International Airport late last week.

The pilot of a privately-owned Pilatus PC-24 aircraft declared an emergency to the airport's tower on Friday, Nov. 3, according to a Transport Safety Board media release.

The TSB said a team has been deployed to investigate "a loss of control" involving the aircraft.

The team will be investigating the circumstances behind this and more information will be available once the investigation is complete.

Airport officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
