Mufasa the mountain lion is free.

A ban on wild animals in Peruvian circuses was fought tooth and nail by the circus owners.

A group called Animal Defenders International tracked down the captive animals and freed the beasts.

In this emotional clip, a mountain line chained in the back of a circus truck was nursed back to health by the activists and eventually freed.
