If you're planning to drive to the Lower Mainland, you may want to reconsider now that a travel advisory has been issued for the Coquihalla Highway and the Okanagan Connector thanks to the approaching snow storm.

The travel advisory is in place for Highway 5 from Hope through Merritt to Kamloops, and Highway 97C from Kelowna to Merritt.

Drive B.C. warns of limited visibility due to snow and travellers are advised to use caution.

For the latest on highway conditions go to the Drive B.C. website here, or follow Drive B.C. on Twitter at @DriveBC_TOK or @DriveBC. You can also follow the Ministry of Transportation on Twitter at @TranBC.
