OSOYOOS - It's hard not to look at the devastating scene.
However today, May 12, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen asked non-residents of the evacuated areas to stay away from the roadways.
This is in an effort to “plan and prevent” erosion and obstruction issues in the Osoyoos Lake areas, according to a media release.
Traffic control will be set in place on Lakeshore Drive (45th Street) in Osoyoos to limit access to this area to local residents only.
