Tokyo Police Club coming to Sun Peaks

KAMLOOPS – Canadian band Tokyo Police Club will be at Sun Peaks next month for the Dew Tour Am Series competition.

The concert will take place at the base of the mountain after two days of slopestyle and big air competitions on March 27 and 28. 

“The weekend will be absolutely packed with talent, both on and off the slopes,” Director of Sales and Marketing Aidan Kelly says. “We are excited to be partnering with the Dew Tour Am Series once again to create an action packed weekend for athletes and guests.” 

Amateur male and female skiers and boarders will compete for a chance to win a total $30,000 purse split between gender categories.

Athletes looking to register can do so on the Sun Peaks website. Competitors must be North American residents and 13 years of age or older. All athletes must be considered an amateur North American athlete in order to participate.

On Friday, March 27 the ski competitions will take place during the day and Tokyo Police Club will perform at 7:15 p.m. On Saturday the snowboard competitions will tke place during the day, along with a yet to be named Canadian headliner.
