SURREY, B.C. - A two-year-old Surrey, B.C., tot has died in what RCMP say appears to be a tragic accident.
Staff Sgt. Blair McColl says the incident happened at about 8:45 Wednesday night as the little girl was playing in the driveway of her home.
McColl says the child was riding on scooter and rolled into the lane where she slammed into the side of a passing car.
She was airlifted to hospital but died a short time later.
An investigation is underway but McColl says charges are not expected. (News1130, CKNW)
