Tk’emlúps RCMP found six stolen cars from different towns around the Thompson-Okanagan region at a rural property in Kamloops.

Police received a report about a Volvo sedan that was stolen from the 100-block of Clarke Street in Kamloops around 8 a.m. on April 2, according to an RCMP press release.

Officers tracked the stolen car to a property in the 600-block of Shuswap Road.

“Vehicles that had been stolen out of Oliver, Vernon and Kamloops were recovered,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

The four people in the trailer, who are all known to police, detained and later released as the investigation continues.
