Mounties responded Oct. 21, just before 9:30 p.m. to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Subway restaurant located in the 3000 block of Pandosy Street, where a man who robbed an employee had just fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

"‎The restaurant was empty of patrons and no employees were hurt during the robbery," Cpl. Meghan Foster said, in a press release.

The Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section has been assigned to investigate and are looking for witnesses who were in the area at the time of the robbery, or may have seen the suspect male in the photographs being shared by police.

The description of the suspect is as follows:

  • Caucasian male
  • 20 to 30 years of age
  • Approximately 170 to190 lbs.
  • Approximately 6'2" tall
  • Wearing grey pants, black hat with "Bardo" or “Bardown” written on the front, and a black hoodie under a white and blue "UFO Plast" motocross jersey

RCMP said to protect the integrity of the investigation, the methods used by the suspect to rob the restaurant cannot be released.
