Those with a passion for ice cream get ready as Tickleberry’s prepares to open a location in Penticton.

Penticton realtor Peter Byrnes says the well-known Okanagan Falls-based ice cream purveyor will be undertaking improvements to the former Starbucks retail outlet at 202 Main St. in preparation for a fall opening.

“I really feel they are an excellent fit for the building and location. I think they will be a really good fit for that location,” Byrnes says, noting the property is ideally located downtown at the corner of Main Street and Westminster Avenue, right next to a grassy public area with room to sit and enjoy an ice cream cone outdoors.

He says Tickleberry’s has a well-earned reputation for quality and service.

“I’m excited,” Byrnes says.
