KELOWNA - More than 900 tickets are still on sale for the Evening with Rod Stewart at Prospera Place later this week, so prices have been dropped.

The arena has room for about 6,000 people but promoters have dropped prices on some tickets, possibly in order to try to sell out the concert.

When tickets first went on sale in July, there were roughly 600 available for around $100 and “sold out in a snap” a worker at Select Your Tickets, who would not give her name, told iNFOnews.ca.

All the rest of the tickets cost more than $200. The front row seats were easy to sell, but apparently people were reluctant to dish out that kind of money further back from the stage.

Now, some of the tickets are selling for $75, plus fees and taxes.
