There’s a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening in the Okanagan with winds gusting to 40 km/h.
The risk for showers and thunderstorms in Kamloops is 40% with winds expected to only gust to 20 km/h.
High temperatures are expected to reach 31 Celsius in the Okanagan today, Aug. 22, and 32 C in Kamloops.
There’s a 30% chance of showers with winds gusting to 40 km/h in the Okanagan late tomorrow afternoon.

That increases to a 60% chance of showers in Kamloops late tomorrow afternoon with winds gusting to 40 km/h.
Temperatures through the week are forecast by Environment Canada to continue above normal in Kamloops, hovering around 30 C. The normal high for this time of year is 27 C.
It’s expected to be a bit cooler, just under 30 C, in the Okanagan. Normal highs there are 25 C.
Showers are expected again on Friday with the sun returning on the weekend.
