Three Vernon suspects nabbed for numerous break-ins and thefts

Vernon RCMP arrested three suspects who turned out to be connected to multiple of property thefts in the city thanks to a tip from the public.

RCMP received a call at around 4 a.m. yesterday, Dec. 14, about a robbery in progress at a home in the 1000 block of 11 Avenue, according to an RCMP press release.

Officers arrested two suspects while a third took off on foot only to be quickly tracked to his hiding spot by a police dog.

Police have linked the three suspects to a series of crimes, including vehicle theft and breaking into community mailboxes.

All three suspects have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court at a future date.

The RCMP is working on multiple investigations related to the suspects and once those investigations are complete more charges are likely.
