Attempted murder charges have been laid against three men in relation to an incident where a man appeared, bleeding from stab wounds and asking for help, in front of a Shuswap home.
Alexander Vittal Boucher, Terrance Alan Jones and Jordy Kyle Moyan have been charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and using a firearm to commit robbery, according to court documents.
Jones has also been charged with pointing a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.
Both Moyan and Boucher have lengthy criminal histories.
Moyan, born in 1987, is currently in custody while Boucher, born in 1984, and Jones, born in 1980, are not currently in custody.
The incident occurred Aug. 16. RCMP officers and medical personnel responded to a call for assistance on Forest Drive in Blind Bay, just before 10:40 p.m.
The 30-year-old victim from the Shuswap area was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The RCMP believe the attack was targeted and happened at a nearby car wash, according to the release.
Moyan is scheduled for a court appearance on Sept. 10, in Kelowna.
