Three arrested, shotgun seized in Kamloops mall parking lot

KAMLOOPS – Police have three people in custody this afternoon after a pulling over a vehicle in Kamloops and finding a loaded shotgun.

RCMP say at around 1:30 p.m. today, Dec. 4, an officer pulled over a vehicle in the Northills Mall parking lot with three men and a woman inside.

One of the men was wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested, according to an RCMP media release.

The officer then spotted a loaded shotgun in the vehicle and the two other men were arrested.

Police say the woman was charged under the Motor Vehicle Act and released at the scene.

RCMP aren’t saying why of vehicle was pulled over or what charges the people in custody are facing.
