The streets of West Kelowna were lined with thousands of kids eagerly awaiting a sugar rush from free candy at the Westside Daze parade today.

The iNFOnews team had a blast driving in the parade this year and getting to meet some more folks who are affected by the news we cover. Be sure to check out our booth in the park if you swing by the festivities.

The parade isn’t all though, the festivities are going on for the rest of the weekend.

The fairground has rides, games and all the snacks you can imagine.

Musicians, dancers, booths and food trucks around Memorial Park all weekend long.

If you like the visuals of a fireworks show but you’re not a fan of the noise and the fire hazard then you’ll love the drone show scheduled for 10 p.m. today, July 12.

Don’t worry if you won’t have a chance to check it out this year, it’s going to come around again next summer.
