Bernie Sanders's image has spread like wildfire across the internet and Thompson Okanagan residents have started creating their own versions of the Democratic presidential contender.
Sanders, from Vermont, was photographed after President Joe Biden's inauguration Wednesday, Jan. 20 and the image has been remixed and reused as a meme across the world.
A website has even been created that puts Sanders, slumped in a chair wearing a pair of brown mittens, on any Google street view.
In the last few days, residents have been putting Sanders in their homes, outside of stores and even in front of Penticton's S.S. Sicamous.
