Thompson Nicola libraries offering take-out book service

Thompson Nicola libraries are closed for browsing but a new service is allowing residents to return their books and get their hands on some new ones.

The Thompson Nicola Regional Library branch has started a take-out option for residents. Readers place holds online and pick up their orders once they've arrived at the library.

After arriving at the branch, the library asks readers to call ahead to limit the number of people outside. Other options can be discussed for those without cell phones, according to the library website.

Holds will be left for seven days and books can be returned through the regular book drops at branch locations.

For more information visit the TN library’s website.

Okanagan Regional Library branches remain closed until June 1, and will be offering a curbside pickup for customers at branch locations.
