KELOWNA - In what can only be described as a ballsy crime, RCMP are looking for two men who made off with three buckets of golf balls from a local driving range.

Valued at over $400, Kelowna RCMP media officer Cpl. Jess O’Donaghey says in a press release that two men rented three buckets of golf balls from the Golf Centre on Benvoulin Road on Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., August 6 for a $45 fee.

Instead of driving the 360 balls, the two men are alleged to have driven away with them in a blue Suzuki Sidekick.

"We would also like to encourage the two men, to demonstrate the proper 'etiquette' and come forward to speak with police, or at least return what doesn't rightfully belong to them," O’Donaghey says.

If you have knowledge of this crime, contact Const. Solana Paré at 250-762-3300.

The Suzuki Sidekick believed to be connected to the golf ball theft is seen in the photo submitted by RCMP.
