KELOWNA - Police are still searching for a man who broke into a gas station over a week ago and made off with an ATM and cash.

Once he got the ATM, he went back inside for the cash registers.

According to a release issued by Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers, a motion alarm was triggered at approximately 11:36 p.m. on Jan. 31 at a gas station in the 3800 block of Gordon Drive.

Crime Stoppers say the man drove up to the business in a grey Toyota Rav 4. He pried open the door, loaded the ATM into the back of the SUV. He then smashed open the cash register and took two trays of cash.

Surveillance footage shows the man wearing a bright yellow construction jacket, dark pants, a black and red hat and gloves.
