KAMLOOPS - The May long weekend is looking pretty good weather-wise in Kamloops, with a mix of sun and cloud along with a chance of showers.
Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud Saturday, but the rest of the Victoria Day long weekend threatens to be wet and a little cooler than normal, with showers predicted Sunday and Monday.
Today, May 17, in Kamloops, expect to see more showers, with precipitation ranging from five to 10 millimetres. Winds from the east at 20 km/h this morning are expected to become light this evening, with a high of 16 Celsius and a low of 8 C.
Tomorrow should see a mix of sun and cloud in the morning before clouds move in towards evening. Tomorrow’s high should reach 20 C with an overnight low of 11 C.
On Sunday, the forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 22 C, along with an overnight low of 11 C.
The forecast for Victoria Day on Monday calls for a mix of sun and cloud along with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 21 C.
The start of the work week on Tuesday should see clear skies and a high of 24 C.
Kamloops’ normal high and low for this time of year is 22 C and 8 C.
