Two Canadian rock bands are stopping in Penticton on an upcoming cross-country tour.

The Tea Party and I Mother Earth will be at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre in November.

Tickets go on sale this week to see the two bands, which have been in the Canadian rock scene since the early 1990s.

The Tea Party is best known for their first single to top Canadian charts, "Heaven Coming Down."

The Juno-nominated band's tour mates, I Mother Earth, are best known for their single "One More Astronaut," which was released on their 1996 album "Scenery and Fish."

Tickets start at $40 and go on sale for the Nov. 16 concert on Thursday, July 13. They can be found at the Valley First Box Office at the South Okanagan Events Centre or online here.
