KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed Kamloops has announced they will be closing their men’s recovery program.

The Christian non-profit organization says in a news release issued today, July 18, they will be closing the program by July 31 to develop stronger, more robust programming and services for Kamloops and area communities.

“Our team is looking at how we can transition our programs to better serve our community and homeless neighbours who want to remain sober,” managing director Diane Down says in the release.

The current residents will be transitioned into other housing opportunities to finish their recovery, the release says.

The Mustard Seed merged with New Life Community in 2018.
