A children's wonderland filled with toad stools and tree houses is opening for the summer season.

The Enchanted Forest, located on the Trans Canada Highway about 30 kilometres west of Revelstoke, has announced it will be opening June 26, with social distancing measures in place, according to its website.

The tourist attraction will be open seven days a week from June 26 to Aug. 31. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with the exception of opening day which will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Social distancing measures include: separate entrances and exits, no-contact payment systems, one-way traffic flow through the park, providing hand sanitizer for customers, encouraging visitors to wear face masks and requiring physical distancing between groups.

Adult tickets are $12 and children tickets (for those between three and 15 years old) are $9.

For more information, visit The Enchanted Forest's website.
