Temperatures to heat up again in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - Back to school is kicking off with a little rain this morning but by the end of the week we can expect highs well above seasonal normals throughout the Southern Interior.

Temperatures will remain below seasonal normal lows of 23 Celsius today, Sept. 8, but will reach 25 C Wednesday before inching up to 31 C for the weekend, according to Environment Canada.

The showers greeting us this morning will taper off by the afternoon and then we can expect cloud cover. Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and cloud and then sunshine is expected for the rest of the week.

Overnight lows will remain above seasonal normals of 9 C, ranging from 11 C tonight down to 13 C throughout the week.
