KAMLOOPS – A 16-year-old girl was assaulted by four other female party goers at an Inks Lake “Passing the Torch” bush party at roughly 1 a.m. on Canada Day, July 1, police say.
Very little is known about the incident, except it allegedly occurred when the victim was swarmed by four others and assaulted, according to a release from Kamloops RCMP.
The victim was injured and required medical attention as a result of the assault. Kamloops Rural RCMP is looking for assistance from the public. A sexual assault stemming from a similar party was reported in 2013 as well.
