KELOWNA - Kelowna Fire Department received numerous 911 calls about a fire just after 1 a.m. today, Aug. 23.
Upon arriving, firefighters discovered flames coming from the second-story windows and roof of the home. They were able to knock those down then go inside to finish putting the fire out.
There was no one living in the house at the time. It was located in the 1000 block of Francescutti Court, which is a small street near Gordon Drive between Lanfranco and Casorso.
The fire is considered suspicious and is being investigated by RCMP.
