Suspected stabbing in Osoyoos

OSOYOOS - A man is recovering after a suspected stabbing in Osoyoos yesterday.

RCMP say in a news release Osoyoos officers responded to an incident at Walnut Beach Resort on Lakeshore Drive at approximately 1:40 p.m. yesterday, May 14.

Police found a 25-year-old man suffering from suspected stab wounds and was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary information suggests this was a targeted incident and police do not believe public safety is at risk.
