Suspect wanted in connection to Kamloops incident involving gun

The Kamloops RCMP is searching for a suspect who may have been involved in a recent a gun-related incident.

On Sunday, March 22, at about 08:31 a.m. Kamloops RCMP officers responded to reports of a gun-pointing incident at a residence on Lorne Street East. Police are still on scene conducting that investigation, according to the Kamloops RCMP in a news release. However, police are seeking the public's assistance in locating the following person who may have been present at the time of the incident:

Michael George Luttman, 36, has been previously charged and is subject of outstanding arrest warrants for:

• Two counts of breach of recognizance
• Extortion
• Two counts of uttering threats
• Possess loaded firearm
• Careless storage of a firearm
• Two counts of failing to comply with an order
• Identity fraud
• Obstruction of a police officer

If you see Luttman, do not approach him. Call Kamloops RCMP officers at 250-828-3000 or 9-1-1.
